Description
The goal of the patient care technician program is to provide students with educational and clinical training in preparation for entry-level employment. Patient care technicians are medical professionals who provide daily care for patients. Under the supervision of a registered nurse or nursing team, they assist with taking vital signs, helping to move patients around a clinic, and more. PCTs are responsible for working with patients and the nursing staff, communicating any changes in the patient's medical condition and potential issues.
