The goal of the dental assistant program is to provide the foundational knowledge and skills needed to support dentists and dental hygienists in a dental office. Curriculum includes foundational knowledge on oral health and prevention of dental disease, patient information and administrative tasks, dental materials, professional skills and radiographic imaging.
