This program provides comprehensive training in areas including human anatomy, medical terminology, and insurance billing and coding essentials. This program is designed to teach you the skills necessary to provide medical billing support and the knowledge to achieve the Medical Coder and Biller Certification. Program objectives include explaining the revenue cycle and the process of medical billing in order to submit claims forms, describe front-end duties related to patient demographics, insurance verification, and authorization, and ensure HIPAA, OSHA, and CMS compliance as applicable.
