Job Description
Lift Operations Team Leader/FT12 sought by Killington/Pico Ski Resort in Killington, VT to perform the following duties:
Oversee the daily operation of assigned area or areas.
- Ensure lifts are operating in compliance with ANSI B.77, Vermont Passenger Tramway, and all KPSRP standards, rules, and regulations.
- Identify and address issues in a timely manner as they pertain to ANSI B.77, VOSHA, VPT, and KPSRP standards.
- Assist Lift Operators, Ticket Checkers and Tubing Attendants with pre and post procedures to ensure consistently presentable, safe, and reliable operation.
- Train staff daily.
- Coaching and leading of staff including the implementation of corrective plans for staff.
- Present Safety and Service topics in assigned areas.
- Aid the Lift Operations Supervisors and Manager in the seasonal change of chair lifts, this may include carpentry work and installing
- bike racks with use of power tools.
- Work with other Team Leaders to ensure Daily Lift Reports for lifts and summer attractions are collected and compiled into Supervisor Reports and submitted weekly.
Minimum Requirements: One year of lift operator experience.
One year of experience must include:
- Administrative and supervisory tasks.
- Handling emergency situations effectively.
- Relevant ski area operations experience.
- Intermediate Ski/Ride ability required.
- Using power tools.
This position will supervise other employees including: Lift operators
Salary: $38, 688.00 to $40,696.50 per year
