Banking Operations Process Documenter (Technical Writer) Remote – USA,USA Position Summary Develop comprehensive documentation, including job aids, procedures, user guides, and technical manuals for the functional area(s) to which the contractor is assigned. Essential Duties – Plan, prepare, and maintain written materials for the assigned functional area(s). – Work with subject matter experts and conduct research and analysis of available materials to produce clear and concise written documentation for the assigned functional area(s). – Apply technical writing skills and capabilities to develop and contribute ideas to improve existing written materials, including recommending language and formatting revisions to enhance the effectiveness of the assigned materials. – Perform gap analyses and identify areas for improvement in the current business process flow documentation. Position Requirements – Five (5) years of experience performing technical writing and editing. – Demonstrated knowledge of the banking, regulatory, financial services, or real estate industries, with experience in accounting, operations, or technical systems. – Proficient in the operation of personal computers/laptops, including use of Microsoft Office Suite Products, SharePoint and Adobe Acrobat with the demonstrated ability to learn client proprietary software and databases. – A four (4) year Bachelor’s degree in English, communications, business administration or a related field from an accredited university. Travel Requirements: Remote, however as needed to meet service-level requirements and for required business meetings some travel may be required. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, location and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
